AUSTRALIA DAY

 

Held annually at the Reserve beside Jamieson River at end of Perkins Street.  Schedule of events is available here or by clicking on Events tab.

 

An iconic day across the nation! Join us at Jamieson for our annual Town Celebration.

Activities include a National Anthem rendition and raising of the Australian Flag. You can also enjoy Aussie bush poetry recitals and a great sausage sizzle!

 

 

 

ANZAC DAY

The moving Anzac Day ceremony attracts visitors from far and wide.

 

 

PROGRAM

 

  • Dawn Service - Gerrans Reserve at 6:00AM

  • Gunfire Breakfast - Memorial Hall at 6:30AM

  • Parade - along Perkins Street at 11:00AM

  • Lunch - Courthouse Hotel at 12:30PM

HIGH COUNTRY ROD MUSTER

Held annually in September

 

The annual High Country Rod Muster brings over 100 Classic Cars and like-minded car enthusiasts to the township and surrounds.

 

The hot rod festivities commence on Friday with the arrival of the cars, dinner and award presentations at the Courthouse Hotel. A Saturday morning Car Boot Sale is always very popular and Jamieson CFA members feed the masses with a cooked breakfast at the Memorial Hall.

 

Be sure to book accommodation in advance as there is never a spare bed!

  • Fundraiser for Jamieson Hospital

EASTER & MELBOURNE CUP WEEKEND BUSH MARKET

 

Held on Easter Sunday and the Sunday of Melbourne Cup Weekend in the Jamieson Memorial Hall.

 

Come along and sample locally made wares including arts, crafts and produce!

WINE & CHEESE NIGHT

 

  • Primary School Fundraiser

  • October annually

  • Held at Jamieson Community Hall

 

Each year in October, a display of local and regional cheeses and wines is held in the Memorial Hall, with tastings of all items on display.  

 

The highlight of the night is the auction.  This is always very entertaining and all proceeds go to the Jamieson Primary School

JAMIESON FARMERS & ARTISANS TWILIGHT MARKET

 

Held on 1st Saturday of December and January.  Starts at 3:00PM and finishes at 7:00PM.

 

Stalls offering a wide range of produce and art that adhere to the "make it, bake it, grow it" principle.

Of course, the atmosphere would not be complete without some music and dance performances.
